District 10 Surplus Equipment Bid Process At the regular meeting held on November 6, 2007, the Board of Commissioners declared the attached list of property as “Surplus”. The Fire Chief has been authorized to act on behalf of the District and dispose of the surplus equipment. Surplus Instructions. The equipment consists of self contained breathing apparatus, spare bottles and parts, VHF mobile and portable radios and other miscellaneous items. Please Note: The attached list does not guarantee availability. All interested parties may submit an offer in writing using the “Surplus Property Bid Sheet”. These offers will be forwarded to the Chief. Bids/offers will be awarded on a “First come, First serve” basis. The District reserves the right to waive informality and irregularity in the bids and accept or reject any or all bids. All surplus equipment is sold “AS IS, WHERE IS’ without any warranty of any kind and without any statement or implication of condition, fitness for purpose, or service life. Purchaser of any surplus equipment assumes full liability for its condition and use and by placement of a bid/offer, agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Spokane County Fire District 10 from any liabilities or costs whatsoever arising out of the purchase or use of any of the surplus equipment.
