We applied for 40 AEDs from various sources.  This project included a partnership with Washington State University, as this study would have been the only kind like it in the Nation.  Sources including Avista, Elsevier Corporation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Cardiac Science, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Phillips Medical, Rural Health Viability Health, Cardiac Resuscitation Solutions.  All were denied.  We will keep trying.
